On 12th November 2009, guests gathered at the Brewery, London to celebrate and reward the best in healthcare building projects, product design and estates & facilities management.
There were 23 awards in total and amongst the winners came Langley Green Hospital for Best External Space; for a project commissioned by Impact Art and designed by artists David Watson & Stig Evans.
In collaboration with Devereux Architects & Standerwick Landscape Architects, David & Stig designed a sculpture garden, Water Courtyard and Fountain which sits within the centre of the hospital and offers patients a tranquil environment for peace and reflection.
