The new Stanley Primary Care Centre officially opened its doors to the public at the Opening Ceremony at the beginning of 2010. It is intended as a catalyst for the regeneration of the town, and a focal point for healthcare excellence within Stanley and the wider district. The Centre is formed by two courtyard blocks: an Adults Primary Care Centre and a Children and Young Persons Health Centre, the latter a specialist Paediatric Hub for the region.
